Did pregnancy ruined my body?

have heard that your body will never look the same after pregnancy.

And I thought... SURELY NOT.

But ...

My fit sexy toned up body I had for years.

Is no longer with us.

RIP.

She gone.

She said goodbye the second I saw positive pregnancy test.

I trained for nine months through nausea and tiredness...

But still....6 weeks postpartum I am 5kg heavier, with higher body fat, wider hips (which I actually do not mind), squishy belly and a mummy pouch....

I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.

My body has been put through a lot so I am giving it time it needs to recover.

But what I would hate is not doing anything about feeling this way.

Kinda just accepting that this is where I will be.

Settle with not liking what I see in the mirror and on the pics.

HELL NO.

Even though things will be different, they will be better to the "war zone" I was left with after birth.

Having a body to be proud of can be addictive in the best ways.

And I need that feeling back because right now it feels like part of me is missing.

I can feel sexy again.

ANND I WILL.

Only one thing more dangerous than a pissed off mum.

One that is going after her goals.
